Cruise Through Key West Harbor
We’ll start by cruising through Key West Harbor, passing the larger excursion boats before heading north into deeper water.
Head Up the Main Ship Channel
From the harbor, we’ll run up the Main Ship Channel toward the Gulf, following the same deep-water route used by larger vessels.
As we move north, you’ll pass by the well-known charter and snorkeling boats before breaking away toward quieter waters.
At the historic Hemmingway Light and jetty which helps keep shifting sand out of the deep-water passage between the Gulf and Atlantic, we’ll turn west toward the west.
From here, the water typically becomes clearer and calmer as we approach Cottrell Key.
