Ok, so you know what you’re looking for, and you’re ready to hit the town. Here are some of the Key West strip clubs to pick from.
Red Garder Saloon at Rick's Complex
Rick’s Bar Key West is a collection of eight bars on Duval that get progressively dirtier the deeper and harder you dig. Downstairs? Karaoke and live music at Durty Harry’s. Upstairs? Dance club vibes. The Red Garder Saloon? Well, you get the idea. In their words, “The premier gentlemen’s club in the Florida Keys.” VIP and champagne rooms, and, you know, strippers.
Red Garter Saloon reviews are generally pretty good, with 4.2 stars on TripAdvisor and 3.8 on Google. The fact that it’s even listed speaks to the place’s popularity. It gets lots of traffic thanks to its location right on Duval, and it’s open every day from 4 pm to 4 am. The good hack about Rick’s Complex is that one cover gets you into several spots, so if you try it and it sucks (or not), you can at least move on to something else (or not).
Teasers at 218 Duval Street
The Red Garter and Teasers are often compared side-by-side because they are (nearly) side-by-side on Duval. Teasers claims to have the “hottest girls in Key West,” but then they would say that, wouldn’t they? They only get 3.2 on Google and a 3.1 on Yelp, so there’s that.
There’s a good comparison of the two clubs over on the TripAdvisor forum, where the poster is looking for “advice for a Key West bachelor party.” Yeah, that’s what they all say! The upshot is that reviews are mixed, but that comes with the territory. Some folks say the Red Garter has better, stronger drinks, and others say Teasers is “classier.”
Vixens Cabaret Key West
The Club Formerly Known as Bare Assets. The problem with Vixens is that it’s way out on Truman, about a ten-minute drive from Duval. So it’s a cab or Uber ride to get out and back if you spend the rest of the evening elsewhere.
That doesn’t mean it’s not worth visiting; it’s a big club and a lot of folks like it. It’s got a 4.0 on Google and a 3.0 on Yelp.
VIP Gentlemen's Club Key West, Florida
Not much good is said on the interwebs about VIP Gentlemen’s Club. Approach at your own risk. It has a 1.6 on Yelp, an awful lot of dollar signs, and a “customer alert.” One dude seems to be in love with Chloe (even though it cost $800), but beyond whatever went on with that, the only thing the place appears to hand out are bad experiences.
The words “tourist” and “scam” seem often paired here, but who knows, maybe you’ll be the one to outsmart them!
Garden of Eden
If you’re sick of paying money to let other people strip, how about spending some money so you can strip? That’s what you’ll get at the Garden of Eden, the upstairs nudist bar above the The Bull and Whistle Stop Bar on Duval. You aren’t required to dance, but you can if that’s your thing.
Ok, so this is more “adult entertainment” than your average Key West strip club. But it’s a must-do on many folks’ bucket lists and one of the most unique things to do in Key West. And, if you like, it’s sort of like the only free strip club on the island!
