Mustard Sauce Recipe for Stone Crabs

You can enjoy your stone crab with pretty much anything, from simple clarified butter
to cocktail sauce or remoulade. But the most popular dipping sauce in these parts is a
homemade mustard sauce.
Here’s my take on the perfect stone crab dip, which I think is the best and only way to
enjoy the best stone crabs Key West has to offer.

Key West Stone Crab Mustard Sauce Recipe
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup Dijon-style mustard
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot sauce (I like Frank’s, you can use more or less to taste)
Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Dash of kosher salt

Mix all ingredients in a small bowl and chill in the refer. Serve the stone crab mustard
sauce in a small bowl for dipping, and try to share it with your friends. If you do eat it all,
make some more to share.
