Cruise Through Lakes Passage
From the marina, we’ll cruise through Lakes Passage, one of the most scenic and wildlife-rich areas in the Lower Keys.
Along the way, you’ll pass Archer Key, Ballast Key, and Destroyer Key, each offering a glimpse into the remote beauty of this region.
Keep your eyes peeled—this area is well known for dolphin and sea turtle sightings, and it’s home to a wide variety of sea birds.
Optional Snorkeling at Archer Key
If your group is up for it, we can stop at Archer Key, one of the best beginner-friendly snorkeling spots in the backcountry.
With depths typically around 4–6 feet, it’s an ideal place to explore comfortably while spotting tropical fish, sponges, and marine life in clear, shallow water.
Navigate the Backcountry Channels
As we continue toward Woman Key, we’ll enter a shallow, winding tidal channel leading toward Ballast Key.
